You know, I wasn’t all that interested in architecture in my art history classes but I’m glad I took the course and learned what I did about structures. That Bath Abbey is quite impressive. Whenever viewing buildings live, of that nature, I feel a little like a part of the history.
It sure is, Totsy.
I’m surprised sometimes that I even remember any of what I was taught, cause I paid so little attention!
I think, like children, we listen passively to those things we are least interested in but do pick up good information, even if it’s only in snippets.
I like the mural windows best – Bath Abbey – and its in large part because I love colorful things. But also because its the most intricate. I also like the Louvre window, because of how you framed it. You are looking out rather than in, an important way too to see a window is to see what it looks out of. Great shots.
Thanks, Sherry. Glad you like them.
You’re right, Totsy. Somehow, some of it gets lodged in the brain. Thank goodness for that!
All excellent shot; I especially love that first one from a church in Bath… great!
